9 suspects wiped out the stock at an East Bay jewellery retail store Monday night, smashing glass circumstances with hammers and grabbing jewels, police claimed.

The alleged robbers entered Iceberg Diamonds at Sunlight Valley Shopping mall in Concord at 7:30 p.m., the Concord Police Department stated. Workers tried to intervene and the suspects held them off with their hammers, police stated in a statement

“Some prospects inside the shopping mall referred to as reporting what they believed ended up gunshots read, but in actuality, they heard the appears of the hammers breaking glass,” the division explained. “No pictures were fired.”

The suspects fled ahead of police arrived on scene.
