Jacksonville’s Southgate Plaza searching center set for demolition

A landmark purchasing hub that has stood for decades on Beach front Boulevard is about to be razed.

Jacksonville creating inspectors accredited permits this thirty day period to tear down the Southgate Plaza purchasing middle just east of the St. Nicholas space. The center, designed in 1957 according to residence appraiser information, has been largely vacant at 3428 Seaside Blvd. Just one of the several remaining tenants is a Subway sandwich shop among some other little firms.

The demolition will charge $500,000 to entire. Lockwood Quality Demolition Inc. is the contractor. A day has not been declared.
