TPD in talks to open up workplace at Tulare Outlets amid substantial-profile crimes

Officers could soon be a far more common sight at the Tulare Stores soon after managers reportedly offered the Tulare Law enforcement Department an empty storefront to open up a new “workplace place.”

The discussion will come amid several large-profile criminal incidents at the outside shopping mall and close by buying centers because the start out of the new calendar year.

“The outlet shopping mall has made available us storefront house so that officers can work on studies and/or acquire a split. The considered is that this would create law enforcement existence,” Sgt. Edward Hinojosa informed the Times-Delta/Advance-Sign-up.

The storefront would be deemed an “business office area” and not a law enforcement substation, he reported. Officers would not be assigned to the shops at all occasions but could use the house to create experiences or get a crack.
